About

Capital Pride Alliance is the nonprofit organization behind Capital Pride, Washington, DC's annual LGBTQ+ Pride celebration. Through year-round programming, advocacy, education, and community events, Capital Pride Alliance brings together the LGBTQ+ community and allies throughout the National Capital Region. The 2026 celebration theme is "EXIST. RESIST. Have the Audacity!" emphasizing that LGBTQ+ people's existence is not up for debate and asserting their right to live freely and openly.

Capital Pride 2026 runs June 12-21 with multiple ticketed events including the opening party RIOT!, Crack of Noon Brunch, Parade Grandstand Bleachers, concerts, and after-parties. Various ticket packages are available ranging from single-event tickets to VIP packages. The main parade takes place Saturday, June 20th in Franklin Park, with the Capital Pride Concert on Sunday, June 21st at 3rd & Pennsylvania Ave NW.
