About

Chester Pride is a registered charity and one of the region's biggest LGBTQ+ celebrations, bringing thousands of people together at Castle Square for a full day of celebration, entertainment, community connection and inclusive spaces. The event features a parade through Chester's iconic streets, live performances showcasing local talent, market and food stalls from local businesses and community groups, and dedicated health zones with support services. Chester Pride is committed to creating a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment with accessibility support including viewing platforms, noise cancelling headphones, large print guides, and BSL sign language interpreters.

Chester Pride 2026

Chester Pride 2026 takes place on Saturday 15 August at Castle Square with a full day of celebration from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The event features the Chester Pride Parade open to organisations, businesses and individuals, live entertainment across multiple stages with performers including Danny Beard, 911, Adam Rickitt, Sonia, and many local drag performers and DJs, market and food stalls, and multiple health zones providing support services. Ticketed entry with various tiers from £9.50 (concession) to £45 (VIP Platinum), with free hardship tickets available for those receiving Universal Credit benefits. Accessibility support includes free viewing platform passes, noise cancelling headphones, large print guides, and BSL interpreters.
