About

Durham Pride UK is a registered LGBT+ charity founded in 2014 that celebrates and supports the LGBT+ community across County Durham. The event has grown significantly, welcoming around 20,000 attendees in 2023. As a by-and-for LGBT+ organisation, Durham Pride raises awareness about issues affecting LGBT+ people and provides support services including a helpline, training for front-line agencies, and specialist services for victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse, hate crime and bullying. All profits from the Pride event support these charitable activities.
