Hay Pride celebrates LGBTQIA+ diversity in the rural Welsh town of Hay-on-Wye. Founded as a Community Interest Company, the event brings together the local LGBTQ+ community and allies through music, art, performance, and celebration. The festival emphasises inclusivity and aims to highlight both the welcoming nature of Hay and ongoing challenges faced by LGBTQ+ people in rural communities.

Hay Pride 2026 celebrates LGBTQIA+ diversity across two venues. Daytime and evening events are free and open to all. The day begins at The Globe at Hay with coffee and cake, followed by a parade led by samba band Queerin to Hay Castle. The main event at Hay Castle (12:00-18:00) features drag performances, entertainment, workshops, food and drink stalls, and a dog show. Evening 'Hay Pride After Dark' (18:00-01:00) at The Globe features cabaret, disco, and DJ sets (18+, free with advance Eventbrite booking).
