About

The Pink Picnic is Salford's annual LGBTQ+ pride celebration held in Peel Park. Organised by Salford Pride, a registered charity, the event celebrates lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and non-binary communities and has grown into Greater Manchester's largest grassroots pride celebration since its inception in 2011. The event attracts thousands of attendees from across the region and beyond.

The Pink Picnic 2026 celebrates fifteen years of pride in Salford. Tickets available from £7.00 plus booking fee for second release, with accessible entry options and free entry for under 16s. Premium options include PinkPLUS (dedicated entry queue, early entry 12:30pm, exclusive VIP area with private bar, two free drink tokens, 10% off vendors) and PinkPASS (dedicated queue, early entry 12:30pm, 10% off vendors). The event welcomes guests to bring up to four cans of alcohol per adult on first entry, reusable food containers, and empty reusable bottles for water refill stations. Accessibility features include BSL interpreters, accessible toilets, reserved seating, dedicated accessibility area, and accessibility champions on site.
