Sparkle Weekend

Sparkle is the National Transgender Charity and home of the Sparkle Weekend, the longest running celebration of trans lives in the UK. The annual Sparkle Weekend is a family-friendly festival-style event taking place in Sackville Gardens in Manchester's Gay Village, featuring live entertainment, workshops, wellbeing activities, family and youth provision, sober spaces, market traders, food and drink. Open to all ages, backgrounds and identities, the event brings together the gender variant community to celebrate joy, hope and acceptance. Sparkle is a voluntary-led registered UK charity run by dedicated volunteers, over 85% of whom identify as trans, non-binary or gender diverse, with zero paid staff.
