Hamburg Pride (CSD)

Hamburg Pride e.V. has organised the Christopher Street Day (CSD) in Hamburg since 2003. The annual Pride Week features the main CSD demonstration alongside a street festival. The event champions visibility and equal rights for the LGBTQIA+ community, with the 2026 motto "Solidarisch queer. Haltung zeigen – für eine Zukunft ohne Angst!" (Solidarity queer. Show attitude – for a future without fear). Hamburg Pride advocates for a society free from discrimination where diversity is celebrated, with inclusive initiatives such as wheelchair-accessible viewing platforms, an accessibility truck for mobility-restricted participants, and audio description services for blind and visually impaired visitors.
