Portsmouth Pride is passionate about making the city one of the most inclusive and diverse locations for members of the LGBTQ+ community to live, work or study. The main day Pride event held every summer is open to all ages and welcomes thousands of people from across the city and surrounding areas. Portsmouth Pride hosts a completely free-to-attend one-day event featuring a community-led parade, two stages, over 50 stalls, and a family funfair. The organization is on a mission to make Pride in Portsmouth more than just one day, creating year-round safe spaces and social opportunities for the LGBTQ+ community.
