About

Abergavenny Pride is a free, family-friendly LGBTQ+ celebration held annually in June at Abergavenny Castle. The event features a colourful parade starting from Gabbs Square at 11:15am, followed by performances, food vendors, bars, and activities for all ages. Founded in 2019 as a community-led initiative, Abergavenny Pride champions tolerance, diversity, education, and environmental awareness while supporting local charities and LGBTQ+ businesses. The event is run entirely by local volunteers and is not for profit.

Abergavenny Pride 2026

Abergavenny Pride 2026 takes place on Saturday, June 27th. The parade assembles at Gabbs Square from 11:00am and departs at approximately 11:15am, arriving at Abergavenny Castle where the main event runs from 12pm to 7pm. Entry to both the parade and main event is completely free. The day features live performances, food and drink vendors, stalls, family activities, and a temporary parade crossing on Nevill Street. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in outdoor areas, and children are encouraged to attend with dedicated activities and a lost child point at the merchandise stall.
