Birmingham Pride

Birmingham Pride is one of the most important LGBTQ+ festivals in the UK, held annually in May. The festival attracts over 25,000 people to the festival site in the heart of the LGBTQ+ village and over 75,000 participating in or watching the annual pride parade through Birmingham's streets. Birmingham Pride weekend serves as a celebration of LGBTQ+ achievement, life and love, and a safe space where the community can be who they want to be without fear or prejudice. The festival has supported numerous LGBTQ+ community groups and charities since 2014. The Birmingham Pride Parade is free to watch, and the Big Free Community Event on Friday is also free, though wristbands are required for stages, market stalls, food vendors, and attractions within the Birmingham Gay Village.
